Sorry it's been so long.

Sorry that it's been so long since I last updated the page but since Scott has found his feet he's forgotten what his bottom is for and I hardly get a chance to catch my breath let alone anything else.
My Mum & Dad moved back to the old home town, which means they are now only 1hr away and get to see us a lot more.

Scott also had his first ever hair cut

Christmas came and went so fast and the boys got lots of really nice gifts

Since the begining of the year we have been in a constant battle with cold, flu or tummy bugs. Sometimes all at the same time!

Logan has not been enroled in playgroup or anything, we are currently on a voyage of discovery, learning all about home education and contemplating it as the thing for us. So watch this space!

Walkies!!!!

Guess who is now walking????

Yep, Scott took his first steps on his own about a week ago. With every day that passes he is gaining more confidence and is able to walk from one room to another, although he still crawls at times.

Managed to get a video clip of him but don't think I can post it on here!?

Birthday Celebrations

We have just celebrated Logan's 3rd and Scott's 1st Birthdays. Had the cousins and some friends over for a party, I hired an entertainer who did punch and judy show it was good fun. I also did the birthday cakes Logan wanted Buzz Lightyear and I did a teddy for Scott.

The Move

The move has happened. Yep. I'm now a resident of Kirkcudbright.

Getting packed with 2 kids in tow was the hardest part, they kept trying to get out of the boxes!!

The next worry was, would it all fit in the van.

You would think that that was the hard part over.
So did the removers!!!!
Most things have found a place but there are still a few things in boxes. The kids seem to have settled okay and have also taken well to sharing the same room (that saved us a lot of work).

We haven't realy been out and about much due to unpaking, illness and birthday celebrations. I'm hoping there will be plenty of time for this as I really don't want to move for a long, long time!!!

First Ever Family Holiday

This is the first time we have actually gone on holiday with the kids and not been visiting people at their house. We traveled down south to the Highleigh Bible Conference, I must admit the traveling was a nightmare and that was with us stopping 2 nights on the way down and traveling back most of the way through the night! Never again!!!(traveling soo far in the car, not Highleigh).
The conference was very good, uplifting and encouraging.

It was great to see old friends again and spend some time with them. We surprised our friends Isobel and David by turning up at the conference and not telling them we were coming, the look on Isobel's face was priceless and a joy to see. Steven and Lydia, who's wedding we attended in July, seem to have settled in well to married life. Baby Esther or baby sister as Logan called her has changed lots and found an admirer in Scott who just wanted to kiss her all the time. Angela and Paul kindly took us under their wing and made sure we knew what was happening and got us involved.

Logan loved the kids club, here he is getting ready for the conference olympics.

Although he didn't win he had fun joining in.

We will go again but next time we are flying!

Fun Day Out

We went to the local agricultural show recently and took along my cousins girl Sarah. A great day was had by all. The weather report said it was to be showers all day but it turned out to be really sunny. Of course I had not prepared for that and we ended up with a bit of sun burn!! Never believe the weatherman!!!

Logan took great pride in driving the bus on the merry-go-round.

My niece was there with her horse Cracker. They won one first and two thirds in various events, we were all very proud, this is the biggest event she has competed in.

As you can guess with kids in-tow it was a costly affair but I can't complain too much as it was good fun.

UPDATE ON SCOTT

As you can see Scott's wee face is getting much better.

All go

We're on the move again.
Heading to Kirkcudbright "the artist town". It's a lovely place, will post pics when I have some.
David's already started his new job. What is the saying "a rolling stone gathers no moss" well that must be us!! We have accepted an offer on this house so come what may we have to be out by 7th Sept!!! More packing, glad I still have alot of things in boxes from last time.
Scott's face is looking a bit better but still a concern. He's also started to crawl properly (not his usual commando thing) and to pull him self up to stand but has no sense to hold on so falls over.
Logan is doing so much better with the potty training, but has started to boss Scott around already. Thinks he's boss but is sadly mistaken, thats my job title. I didn't go through labour not to be the boss.
